Jumping on a plane and navigating my way around a new destination has always been my absolute favourite things to do. In my twenties we backpacked around Australia and then later on to South East Asia. We travelled around Indonesia for our honeymoon and took a month long holiday driving around America shortly before Ettie arrive.

We’ve dipped our toes in three oceans, set foot on five continents and enjoyed many city breaks in between. We even got married in France navigating our way home across the country in Stu’s Transit.

We are very fortunate to have been to the places we’ve been and don’t want the adventure to stop now we’ve started a family. If anything through my blog I’d like to show you that travelling with a family need not be something to be scared of because there is nothing more magical than seeing the world through a childs eyes and making memories with them.

Last week I shared my thoughts with you on the struggle I’d been having since upping my hours at work. Well a couple of things have happened since then and I’m feeling lots brighter, so in the interest of helping other Mums who might be in the same predicament, I thought I’d share them with you! Firstly I went for some acupuncture! I’ve had it before, just after our wedding when I think the stress of working too hard and renovating our first home resulted in this ugly puffy eye thing. The Dr’s thought it was an allergy and I had all sorts of tests, but the creams they prescribed made it a million times worse.
